Months later, he was shipped to Mueda Mozambique, where
fought as a soldier in the Colonial Wars between 1970 and 1972.
Needless to say, I hope, my father didn’t want to go to war,
nor did he have a choice but to go down a violent forced path.
When he was notified, he was ridiculed by an older farmer, who told him:
“You are going to war, son!”
I took up some of his childhood photos and designed an animation,
repeating these words in a loop.
