Map-poems (2023) is a cumulative ongoing project,
- reflecting my doctoral research around the theme of cartography.
One part of the project mixes words and poetry with the drawing
of roads, highways, and sidewalks from the contemporary landscape.
The second part draws upon the design of historical maps.
It’s inspired by the practical methodology of Dennis Wood,
artist and cartographer, and its emotional cartography.
